Daytona 500: Who's In and who's Out

Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch capture Gatorade Duel Victories.

In the first Gatorade Duel race, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart played cat and mouse with the lead down the stretch run. Gordon, a 3-time Daytona 500 Champion fights off Stewart to win his 5th Duel Race in his career. Tony Stewart finished second, which gives him a row number three start in the 500.

Martin Truex Jr. lost control of his race car on lap 49, but he was able to stay out of trouble and remain on the pole.

Kyle Busch passed Mark Martin on Lap 56 and held on to caputure win the second Gatorade Duel Race. Martin ended up finishing second, giving him the outside spot on row number two in the Daytona 500.
